PryEngine 2D PryEngine 2D is essentially a free programme which allows gaming fans to create their own 2D videogames for Windows. Once you have constructed your 2D world you can release the game under free or commercial licenses. Whether you want to include spaceships, mazes or even talking characters and wandering creatures, you can do so with PryEngine 2D. The programme enables to user to create players and Bots characters of any size, which can be controlled simultaneously. It also supports motion animations of characters in as many as eight differing directions. It does not have online support, only has two types of weapons for players and supports just one map per game. Although it allows jumping to other areas of the map it doesn’t allow jumping to another map or level. Also it doesn’t allow the creation of graphics, sounds or music. Overall – and with the limitations in mind – PryEngine 2D still provides a free and effective platform for game design.
